Lahia Tented Lodge is strategically located at the top of a hill overlooking Central Serengeti with views towards Western Serengeti, within reach of mythical locations such as the famous kopjes masais, the museum at the Olduvai gorge, Seronera valley and the Grumeti river.
The main structure offers a unique 360 ยบ panoramic view of the landscape and features a central lounge, dining area and infinity pool that disappears at the edge of expansive views of the valley. The semi-circular design with large wood columns and thatch roof celebrates the immaculate beauty of Serengeti, and the firepit is a great place to meet other guests where one can share stories around the campfire.
Twenty-five tented rooms are located throughout the property, and each has a distinctive blend of African style and soothing comfort that creates a perfect vacation getaway in Tanzania. The ensuite entices you to relax after a day of exploring Serengeti with a semi-enclosed outdoor shower with natural stone walls and free-standing white bathtub with impressive views of the outdoors. A private elevated deck is furnished with safari chairs and small table to provide a place to relax with a glass of wine or start your day with an aromatic cup of tea or coffee.
