Figtree Bushcamp is situated in the Kafue National Park and is named after the giant fig tree next to the boma (central area) overlooking a unique sandy lagoon. This lagoon maintains its alluring water throughout the season attracting an array of wildlife, including elephant, puku, impala, warthog, zebra, and hartebeest. Predators like lion, cheetah, leopard and hyena are regular visitors and the wild dog have been known to prey on the concentration of game.

The camp has tented accommodation on 3-meter-high platforms above the ground, giving a spectacular view of the plains and the lagoon where various animals come to drink. The beautiful location in combination with spectacular accommodation and the variety of wildlife are the main attractions – not to mention the remoteness of the Camp.

Camp Facilities consists of a Central dining boma and lounge area, Central campfire allows for the perfect nightly star-gazing, Infinity swimming pool overlooking a watering hole with sun-loungers and kikoyi towels.

Activities on offer include game drives and nature walks.
