Set inland from the Kafue River, in the Kafue National Park, Musekese camp offers the real bush experience. Overlooking a dambo and not far from the river, the camp has 5 comfortable tents, all set in unspoilt bush. Enjoy running hot water showers, friendly and attentive staff, superb food produced from an oven in the ground, and peace and tranquillity where the only sounds are those of the bush in full flow. The snort of a hippo and cough of a leopard are common sounds to hear at night.
The young owner/guides, Phil Jeffrey and Tyrone McKeith, both have enormous experience and proven track records in the safari industry. Together with their guiding team, they will share with you their passion and knowledge of this unique and pristine wilderness and will go out of their way to make you happy. Whether it be plants, trees, insects, birds or animals, Phil and Tyrone will keep you informed.
The guides’ emphasis is on experiencing the Kafue National Park, and activities to choose from include day and night drives, river safaris by boat, walking safaris, or quietly sitting in a well placed photographic hide.
