Three Rivers Camp is a secluded camp which is tucked away under ageless sausage trees where the Lusangazi River and the Kapamba River join their biggest sister, the Luangwa River. With the rivers white sandy beaches on one side and a game-rich lagoon on the other, the location is spectacular.
The camp consists of 5 upscale safari tents which are extremely spacious each with a private terrace and en-suite bathroom featuring both indoor and outdoor showers. Each tent looks across views over the river and lagoon. They each have a private elevated platform with star beds where one can sleep under the stars. The camp is run on solar power.
The main area as an elegant lounge under canvas and one can partake in candlelit dinners near the river. There is a waterhole in the middle of the camp and a large fireplace and viewing deck.
Activities include morning and afternoon bush walks and game drives, night drives on the way back to camp. For those combining Three Rivers Camp with the sister Island Bush Camp, a 4 hour walk is possible as a means of transfer between camps.
