Situated in North West Zimbabwe, Hwange is the largest national park in Zimbabwe, covering an area of 14,651km2.  It is a haven for over 100 mammal and 400 bird species, making it an absolute must for wildlife enthusiasts and ornithologists.

Hwange boasts elephants in their thousands, big cats, wild dogs, buffalo and many species of antelope, including the majestic sable.

Landscape varies from dense teak forest in the north, to open grass vleis lined with acacia and mopane woodland.

Hwange is known for waterholes that are maintained throughout the year by “Friends of Hwange”, ensuring the livelihoods of thousands of animals, and excellent game viewing as wildlife congregate at these points.
