Victoria Falls River Lodge is located in the Zambezi National Park on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, 10 minutes from Victoria Falls Town. Its location is close enough to the Falls that guests can see the spray as it plunges into the gorge below. The Lodges' accommodation consists of 13 Luxury Tented Suites (comprising of 8 Luxury Tents and 5 Luxury Family Tents) and 6 elegant Island Treehouse Suites - the latter secluded among the treetops on an adjacent island and accessible only by boat.
All Luxury Tented Suites are ensuite with a private deck and private plunge pool all overlooking the river. Lodge facilities include a raised game viewing platform overlooking the waterhole, a wood fired pizza oven and a rim flow infinity pool as well as an expansive bar area with panoramic views, an onsite Fitness Centre and a Spa.
4 Island Treehouses and 2 Starbed Treehouses, are located on the private Kandahar Island, in the middle of the Zambezi River and are built on raised wooden platforms within the canopy, offering bright and contemporary accommodation with beautiful views of the Zambezi River. Each suite has a large bedroom and bathroom with rain shower and free-standing bath. Wide glass sliding doors open out onto the spacious private deck, half covered and half open, with a small plunge pool, complete with sun loungers. An ideal place to relax and watch the river flow by. Two of the Island Treehouse Suites have a rooftop sitting area and signature Starbed for an extra special experience, ideal for honeymooners. The central area has a sunset bar, dining area and lounge which faces out onto the river overlooking a sandy beach.
Lodge activities include river cruises, bird watching, game drives into the Zambezi National Park and a guided tour of the Falls. Further onsite activities - such as fishing, guided bush walks and spa treatments are available at an additional charge. The Lodge will also gladly assist guests with bookings for off-site activities e.g. helicopter flights over the Falls, white water rafting, adrenalin activities etc. with third party operators
