Thamalakane River Lodge is situated on the Thamalakane River, 19 kilometers from Maun, on the road to Moremi Game Reserve. The lodge is built in stone and thatch and is nestled under tall trees on the banks of the river. Thamalakane River Lodge offers an escape from Maun in tranquil surroundings, and is close to town.
The lodge consists of en-suite stone chalets, which are positioned in the shade of the riverine forest. All chalets have mosquito nets, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a private verandah overlooking the Thamalakane River.
During your stay you can enjoy drinks and meals at the pen bar/restaurant while enjoying spectacular sunsets over the river. The grounds provide a haven for extensive birdlife and there is a swimming pool for your enjoyment.
Activities include boat cruises and various activities around Maun and Moremi can be arranged upon request
