Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp

Mbuzi Mawe Front

Mbuze Mawe Serena Camp is located in an area known as “the place of the klipspringer”, settled in a beautiful acacia glade on one of the main corridors of the wildebeest migration in Central Serengeti. This camp provides guests with 16 large canvas tents that sit on stone platforms and have thatched roofing. Each tent is surrounded by acacia trees and are surrounded by towering rocky outcrops.  Each tent has en-suite facilities with inclusive Wi-Fi, room service and 24-hour inverter powered electricity.

Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp is particularly popular when the Serengeti Wildebeest migration passes through this area. Typically this is during March and April, when the herds are on their way north, and then again around November to January, when the migration is heading back south.

Bushdinners can be arranged but for guests wanting to eat in doors, the central tent offers wildwood seating with a panoramic view of the plains.
