The Farmhouse Lodge is situated on a private wildlife reserve on the boundary of the stunning Matobo National park, and within the UNESCO World Heritage site.
The original farm homestead has been converted into an elegant restaurant, bar and reception, which is set at the base of a large granite outcrop. Guests are accommodated in these beautiful surroundings in 12 individual Cape Dutch style cottages. Each cottage comprises a comfortable bedroom, en suite toilet and shower, open plan lounge with tea/coffee facilities and fridge. Each cottage also has its own braai area or guests can eat at the restaurant which offers delicious home cooked meals.
The Lodge has its own swimming pool, braai boma area and offers WiFi.
The Farmhouse is the ideal location for a breakaway and to explore the Matobos . On offer are a variety of activities including bush walks and game drives. Tours are also taken into the National Park to visit the bushman cave sites and Rhodes grave. The most popular activities are the Rhino walks which are conducted by the lodge licenced professional guide.
