Royal Chundu Island Lodge is the more private and exclusive of the two lodges at Royal Chundu in the Victoria Falls. Located on the Katambura private island, the lodge is surrounded by gentle river channels, Baobabs and two thousand year old Jackalberry trees. There are four spacious villas each with their own spectacular deck, a large open-air bath, a glass-walled double shower as well as air-conditioning, a fan, mosquito net and a king-size, extra-length bed and mini bar – an ideal setting for honeymooners or anyone wanting a romantic and private retreat.
The Lodge has a boma area for outdoor evening meals, two lounges, a dining room, private dining decks, fireplace, an infinity pool as well as complimentary WIFI and cell phone reception. Activities include Sunset River Cruises, Island Walks, Picnics, Canoeing, Village Walk and Community Tours, Fishing, Bird Watching Safaris, as well as specialised Children’s Club Activities.
