Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge is located on the edge of the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe preserved in pristine wilderness. Gonarezhou means “Place of the Elephants.” The park is home to over eight thousand of them. The Lodge consists of 10 spacious rooms with private balconies and seating areas with views over the Save River and the Gonerazhou National Park. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom.
The main living area comprises of a stone, thatch and ancient Leadwood and teak bar and seating area. There is an upstairs viewing area, seating area and library.
Activities include game drives and walks in the Gonerazhou National Park with a resident professional game guide. There are also day trips to the Chilojo Cliffs and the Temwehata water pan. Excellent bird viewing is on offer and a visit to the Mahenye Cultural Village.
