Chundukwa River Lodge is 30km upstream from the Victoria Falls (30-40 min drive through the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park) and 25kms from Livingstone Airport.
Each chalet is individually styled and most importantly is open-fronted, enjoying magnificent views of the river and a direct connection to nature. Uncluttered and beautifully furnished, the chalets have all the comforts one would need in this eco-style lodge - fans, mosquito nets, Egyptian cotton sheets, a safe, dressing gowns, electric blankets, hair dryer, USB point, charging tables, back up inverters and a tea and coffee station. The reception/lounge/bar and swimming pool area has particularly spectacular views of the river.
In addition to the lodge, the ‘farm’ is also home to a large stable yard of horses. Guests are welcome to do a short ride in the mornings or afternoons into the local forest area and alongside the river. Longer rides are available and all riding abilities are catered for. Guests are welcome to wander up to the stables.
Activities such as horse-riding, birding, sunset and sunrise cruises, a visit to the local village and community school are all part and parcel of what guests can enjoy during their stay at Chundukwa River Lodge.
