The Thamalakane River ride runs from the comfortable Royal Tree Lodge, with rides returning to the comfort of the lodge each day. Accommodation consists of 8 stylishly appointed safari tents, each with en-suite toilet and shower. The lodge is nestled in 400 acres of riverine trees and acacia woodland, on the edge of the Thamalakane river. A swimming pool is available to cool off in the hotter months.
Daily rides will take you through fascinating areas where you will enjoy close encounters with wildlife, who are very relaxed with the horses. You will ride through endless woodlands, jumping logs along the way if you wish, and ride alongside or through the river where you will see a myriad of birdlife. Stops will be taken where you will be served delicious meals.
